Not out at sea!

These paddle boarders were out in the River Almond today at Cramond, just where it empties into the Firth of Forth. It was low tide too and many people were walking out to Cramond Island. We chose to walk along the river instead. We spotted not one, but four herons on the opposite bank.
The two cafes were open but only for carry out food and there was no access at all to toilets anywhere, so we didn’t stay out all day :)
The cafe in the building that used to be one of the iron mills is up for sale. It’s also the site where my 3x great grandfather was killed by his brother in an argument. If I win the lottery next weekend it may be on my shopping list :)
