Mixed Medley

You can tell how desperate I am when the only thing I can find to blip today is the last of the vegetables to go into this week’s vegetable stew. The onion, carrots and leek were in the pot before I thought of recording the scene.

I was out on my trusty 2 wheeled steed early this morning recce-ing the route for the baking drop off at Maggie’s tomorrow. I’ve decided to try cycling instead of walking, but the weather conditions have to be ideal! No wind, no rain and hopefully not too busy. I wonder what my chances are!

It was lovely to see people in the flesh today rather than virtually on a screen.
There is the advantage too of getting an actual hug. Daughter #1, down from Cullen for gallery duty, came in the morning to claim my old IPhone and it was she who gave me the hug.
My afternoon friend brought back a book I had lent her and we sat on the patio in the sun. She did not give me a hug but kept her distance. It was lovely to be outside when even the beeeze was warm.
