Stanley with seeds

It has been a nice summer day, perfect for being out walking and pottering in the garden. We ended up walking this morning on a path we have not been on before walking above the Ewden Valley up a track leading to a shooting lodge and butts. Wonderful clear views of the surroundings hillsides and moors.
This afternoon trying to clear the couch grass and docks from under the apple tree in the corner. Stanley spent the time chasing birds and trying to get over to the neighbours to introduce himself to the chickens that have recently bought. In the process he collected grass seeds in his top-knot.
My extra today is to show how the eryngiums have become even deeper blue in colour.
