Fair
And I’m out
First port of call was obviously my favourite stamping ground of Temple to drop off Friday nights borrowed beer pong table. Was met by this lovely lad guarding the door policy, no masks!? No muzzle?!
Perfect timing to catch up with some favourite faces too as the weekly Fare Share was ongoing. Local initiative by Tescos to give leftover food destined for dumping to the local community so traded the table for two butternut squashes. Please, thank you ma’am.
Feeling a bit like my ol’ grandma, I was driven oot to North Berwick and was rewarded with an ice cream, mint choc chip, for my slow, slow walk. It’s one thing cruising the furniture at home thinking, hey this walking business, I’ve got it sussed, where are my trainers? Leaving the house and putting one foot in front of another was a different matter.
Sat on the beach looking a fool in my thick black medical tights wishing for a sign to say I’m not a geriatric, I’m recovering But hey, who’s looking when the view was glorious.
Half an hour was enough, dead beat and slept all the way home.
Butternut squash risotto for tea.
Yum yawn yum
