Down on the rhineland

Two roe deer eyed one another across the hayfield but the doe quickly disappeared when the buck came across the field to say hello!  Neither of them worried about my presence and until she got agitated they groomed themselves, picked at willow leaves and entertained me for at least 10 minutes.
