Wild flowers

Despite being tired after a hectic week I was awake for 3 hours in the night so I had a lazy morning reading yesterday’s Guardian.

Katy and Colin invited us over for tea and cake in their garden which was a treat. We walked the 2.5 miles by the river to their house. It was great to see Colin who is recovering from his heart attack and insertion of 3 stents 2 weeks ago. He’s been back to hospital as he wasn’t coping with the statins they gave him - he was in a lot of muscle pain. Hopefully the new ones have no side effects.

It was quite warm and sunny so that was a nice change.
