A visit

We had a pleasant visit to my aunt in Tiel, today. She was glad we came and had a complete program waiting. Preceded with coffee and cake, we left for a walk along the wetlands next to the river Waal.
At the artwork, I made the blip of the day. On top of the bronze arch are miniatures of all kinds of famous buildings of the world, also in bronze. The idea behind this is that if you look through the arch to the river, you see the boats going to distant destinations.
I like this. I like the arch as well.

After our walk, we had lunch in her beautiful garden. Social distancing was hard to maintain. An aunt is not visited every day, but we have done our very best.
