Wild Garden, Hermitage of Braid

Not really a Public holiday for me, but as the client won't be there, I take a flexi. The morning is cool and cloudy, but the clouds clear for a nice afternoon. I walk along the Braids Bridleway, then down the Lang Linn Path tot he Braid Burn, up the other side to the top of Blackford Hill, the view from the top looking vaguely SW, is Extra. I walk home via the steps on the western slope to the Hermitage of Braid. The main blip shows the wild garden. Shaded from teh wind, it feels very warm. It is a shame the Hermitage café is shut as it would be nice to sit outside with a coffee. I get home just in time for afternoon coffee and a bit of chocolate.
