A very rainy day

This morning we got up quite early and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Then it started to rain.
The rain didn't let up all day. So we slowly made our way to Wellington- the driving was a bit scary over the mountains.
We were very glad to be staying with Sams cousin Jenny tonight with the rain and the wind. We got to their house and settled in. Then in the evening Sam and I went out for dinner with Jenny and her boyfriend George, which was lovely. It was so nice to see em and catch up.
This is the embassy theatre in Wellington which was the home of the premier of the Hobbit.
