Makeover

Our village phone box is getting a much needed makeover. It still has a working telephone but has been used as a much appreciated Book Neuk for a number of years. However, because, of the current situation all the books were removed as a precaution against infection. Some locals took the opportunity, with permission, to renovate the box. One person repaired the door which was in danger of falling off its hinges and others have removed rust and begun painting. At the moment it has a dusky pink undercoat and the new bright red top coat is in the process of being done.
