Cloudy again

A board call in the morning went very well. The rain blew in before lunch and out again when we walked one of our favourite Portobello circuit walks along the Christian path and back by the beach.

The low tide gives everyone space to walk, talk and reflect. The clouds scudded over the staycation folk making the best of not being away. The sea seemed warm today too.

My culinary mojo has returned and I am greatly enjoying being back in the kitchen.

Sad to read that Henderson’s is closing after 58 years. Yet another Covid casualty. We have very fond memories of queuing from the street to eat there in the mid seventies! We still went there occasionally for lunch pre lockdown but it was, sadly, not the place it used to be.
