Sunflower

I discovered this flower on the allotments though the sunflowers in our garden are not ready yet.
On my walk around the fields today I discovered the harvesters had been busy over the weekend and at least three of the fields had been harvested. Today the huge machines were clearing the straw into bales which will provided for the cows during the winter months. It makes me realise the summer is passing al too quickly!
