Not As Planned

I had planned on a relaxing day.  The idea was to go to breakfast, meet Birdseed Lady then take a drive to Madera Canyon.  Later, I'd drive to Tucson to return something to Best Buy. I had my camera equipment and a small cooler of water ready to go.  Those were the plans, anyway.

However, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry..

After an hour of waiting for Birdseed Lady, I sent her a text to which she replied she had a flat tire and wouldn't be able to get to Green Valley.  Before I could start my drive to Madera, an elderly friend was having trouble setting up her new printer.  I ended up at her house cleaning up/out her computer and installing said printer. As I was finishing up, she pulled out a new Android tablet which needed to be set up.  After five hours of getting everything tip top, I was paid with a $4 mini DQ mini Blizzard.

I managed to get to Best Buy but during the drive home, she called again in a panic saying she couldn't get some things to work.  I returned to her house. Confusion reigned but nothing was wrong

...except that I stumbled as I left her house and nudged that little piece of bone in my ankle loose and spent the rest of the night with ice packs and a headache.

The good news is that the monsoon has arrived!  Yay!
