Ten weeks

Butcher trip to Ottobeuren this morning. Snow had disappeared yesterday then at 6:00pm it started again but just a few centimeters. Today wonderful sunny start but as we started our walk in the Bannwald in Ottobeuren, the snow started & is due to stay with us for some time/weeks - hopefully. Better than the horrible rain. If it gets cold quickly, we will be able to skate on the lakes on the horse fields.
At the start of the walk, we met by chance a 70 year old doing his daily walk & got in to conversation. His dog died in May last year & so he was quite pleased that Luna & Flash kept "molesting" him. Ended updoing the whole hours walk together which made quite a pleasant change. Then spent at least 30 mins chatting at the car park but the dogs were quite happy to sleep in the car having hopped around in the snow.
