Mudlarking

Sooo happy to get back to the foreshore today!  The experience was slightly tainted by having to go it alone, but still lovely to be out in the fresh air and wandering along the edge of the Thames.  Tim and I had planned to drive to Charlton, to a spot we'd reccied recently, but there was absolutely nowehere to park (it had been so quiet a few weeks ago - no such luck now).  We spent about an hour in the car altogether, which was frustrating to say the least, and after not finding anywhere to park in Greenwich either, Tim dropped me off near the Trafalgar Tavern and I spent a couple of hours down by the river before he came back to pick me up, bless him.

Pickings were incredibly slim today - really didn't find anything of interest - but the weather was perfect (sunny but not too hot, and a lovely sea breeze off the water) and it was good just to be out and doing something different.
