I was trying to fit new tyres to my bike, but had an absolute nightmare. I punctured three inner tubes and broke a tyre lever in the process. In the end I only got one tyre up and then gave up. If I had gotten a puncture on the trip we would've been completely screwed because there was no way I'd be able to get that tyre off again!
