Fish and chips

We had a double treat today, fish and chips for lunch in the company of young family, Grandson George and his girlfriend Valentina, and Jake (out of the picture) The visit was in order for Jake to collect our kettle barbecue. Normous has decided he will not barbecue again, so he cleaned up the barbecue and found all the tools and recipe books. I hope Jake has as much fun with it as we did.
Today we had take away fish and chips in the garden together, followed by ice cream. It was so stimulating to be in young company, listening to their chatter. I hope they come again - they don’t need an excuse
