Far horizons

I wanted a hill walk but we only had part of the day.
The local paper does weekly walking routes and I have a collection over the years which has taken us to different places not to far away.
A few weeks ago it had Craig Rossie, a fairly small hill at the eastern end of the Ochils which is very prorminent when driving along the A9 and not too far from home.
This was the view from the top which we got to by a track winding round the back and then over Ben Effray, a hiil fort (see extra) and under a family of ravens.
Down was rather steep but it made a delightful hill walk.
Now out to a prayer meeting, just 2 couples this week so we're actually meeting.
