Swifts

This place is one of my favourite views on the island. Looking west over the waters between Öland and the mainland and over the former sea bottom, now excellent farmland.  I'm standing on the southern bit of the limestone shelf that formed this island some time ago. The swifts are whizzing by, catching their supper over the treetops below. I was lucky to catch one of them on picture, I must have taken 25 pictures trying but only a few with actual birds on them. A lovely summers day.
