Tarquin the Toad.

This is Tarquin’s third returning season to my parent’s water feature in their garden. He seems largely very happy to sit on the pebbles for most of the day-especially when there’s some sun to bask in & then apparently, he goes below the surface once dusk sets in.

Clearly (once he disappears from the surface) he’s really out driving a sports car up & down the back roads of their village at an alarming speed; in pursuit of his impulsive desires & a hot air balloon adventure.

The dogs are apparently oblivious to him. Surely, he must smell rather pungent to a dog!?..

Just another quirk of my parent’s garden...
