Wood carvings

These are my late grandfather's wood carvings, I don't understand it but it more of a religious icon of sorts. He was an artist, art/creative director, photographer, painter, advertising guy,ambidextrous really was just a gifted man.

It's sad I never got the chance to see him.
My dad hung them in the living room with his other paintings.
