Marion and Steve in the mizzle

We met Marion and Steve in Japan 2 years ago. They live in the south but have a second home in Northumberland. Their idea is to retire up here.

Now that permission has been granted to visit second homes they left their 4 grownup children at home and escaped! 2 of their daughters are aerospace engineers so that’s a bit of a worry.

We had an 8 mile walk to show them the cup and ring marks and Iron Age fort then had a pleasant cup of tea in our garden.

It was mizzly on and off so raincoats were also on and off. I had a hot bath and dozed off - My tooth is still sore.
