Dark, damp, dull, dreary and deserted
Solihull, where despite Technophobe’s advice, we went shopping today.
Things started badly with a road closure and diversion, which inevitably was badly signed and had its own roadworks.
Touchwood centre might as well shut down, pedestrian carpark entry and exit are about 50 yards apart, which is ok if you aren’t carrying a heavy load, which we were, having just raided M&S food.
Mell square was almost empty, big posters on the windows proclaimed that Nero was open. It wasn’t.
Thoroughly depressed we came home. Fortunately local knowledge enabled us to avoid the roadworks.
The title almost fits my blip for the worms eye view theme for today’s Wide Wednesday.
