cellar spider and offspring

Today's work was interrupted when I was alerted to a cellar spider and its offspring under kitchen sink. It was a good opportunity to try out the new macro lights (see extra) with a focus stack. Quite happy with the results. Although annoyingly the remote app doesn't properly work on my phone but quite happily works on my tablet. I suppose I could use my old phone specifically as a remote control for the camera.

Met Rowan in town for an ice cream and went to Blackford Hill on the way back to checkout the cygnets. It's a great shame we are not on our usual summer trip to Germany, but it is also nice here.
