Getting ready for next week

These toys have been stored around the garden since the grandchildren last visited, almost 12 months ago. They are coming next week so these all needed a good clean, pressure washed and disinfected.
Hopefully if the weather is kind they will be able to burn off their energy in the garden and sleep all night.
Its a funny thing but sorting these out made me realise that we have not heard the sounds of kids having fun for months. Usually we can hear playtime at the local school and we see the kids going to and returning from it. Something else Covid has taken from normal daily life. No doubt next week the grandchildren will be able to fill this gap
