A different farewell

With only 50 mourners allowed to meet for a a funeral, it was hard to know how to give the parishioners a chance to say goodbye to Gordon, a life long parishioner who had held leadership roles in the parish for a very long time.
So in the church garden, we held a small 'prefuneral' for 40 parishioners to pray and remember him before we placed him inside church ready for his family to do the same.

I guess we all need to be creative these days.
