Surf school
A drizzly start to St Swithin’s Day! The sun came out later so hopefully we are not in for a 40 day summer drooking after all.
A friend joined us with her dog for a morning walk round Brunstane Farm. These fields, bedecked with wild flowers are on the cusp of being ploughed up to enable the construction of 1300 new homes. We came back along the foreshore but had no luck with any rare sea life sightings!
Later when the sun came out we went along the High Street to do some masked shopping and note how many more local businesses had reopened.
On the way home we caught the end of a paddle board class. It looked like an outward bound school had moved into town to reach its clients who currently cannot use their residential facilities.
