Bomber County and ready for action!

Went to meet a friend for lunch and had to go through Woodhall Spa - so thought I'd blip the Memorial to the Dambusters who were based in Woodhall Spa during the last war. There is a huge memorial to 617 Squadron who were based in RAF Woodhall Spa and who bombed the dams of the Ruhr. However having taken a shot of the Memorial I went on my merry way to meet my friend and round a corner on a minor road was this plane in a field. Clearly we are poised for action. I shall sleep safe in my bed tonight! And I'll blip the Memorial another time!
