It's beginning to look like ...

..... kolhrabi, although it has taken quite a while to get this far. Gardening definitely requires patience. 

  I don't recall having tasted kolhrabi before so it will be interesting to see if I like them. Will find out shortly.

My swedes are coming along nicely and I have been enjoying them in casseroles and also brought in my first onions today.
