Abstract Thursday: "Colourful"

"Colourful" is Ingeborg's chosen option theme for today's AT challenge.

I pondered this at lunchtime with my Editor, who kindly remembered that she has an very colourful sarong which she's had for years. At least she thought she still has it, then wondered if it had gone to a charity shop. No: happily she found it very quickly (The Editor Strikes Again!). It depicts a black-and-white leopard surrounded by colourful flowers.

I hung it on the washing line in the sun, then photographed a section of it with my modified Helios lens which produced this soft-focus effect. So all I had to do in processing was to enhance the saturation a little - no other fartnarkling was necessary.
