Admiring A Mackerel Sky
Clouds were the feature of today and, although I took advantage to photograph flowers in diffused light, I chose the relatively less seen mackerel sky for my image.
I had not actually heard the term until last year when a friend called it such. But it seems aptly named.
The only difficulty processing was relieving the blocked up shadows of the tree foliage. I would like to know how to bring out the sky a little more, it doesn't seem as dramatic as I recall. Time for research.
