School’s out for summer
For the past two weeks I have driven daily through the village of Shawhead where all three of my children went to the wee primary school. During most of their time there, there were two classes -P1-4 and P5-7 or similar, depending on the age distribution of the children. It was such a big move for them to go from a small rural school, which felt like being in a family, to a high school in town with hundreds of pupils.
The mosaic was made to celebrate the school’s 150th anniversary and it is now outside the gates. (Since my three left, the school has been completely rebuilt) It’s still a great wee school.
