Happy birthday to me

What a few days I have had. Broken arm and ribs, trying to work, adjusting with the immobility and the pain and today it is my birthday.

I have however been overwhelmed with the messages and gifts and bunches of flowers I was given! My sister brought round some flowers, a friend from work popped over which was so unexpected and I haven’t seen her since March and then another friend with some red roses... which may feature in another blip.

My arm and ribs do feel slightly better today and i was slightly spoilt with gifts and a chinese takeaway for dinner. And champagne. A lovely birthday despite the unfortunate position I’m in!

I will heal.
