The good side and the bad side

The three of us, including Daughter Two, walked down to the town today - diverting to Rockfield to pick up the order from the Food Hub. On the way down Rockfield Road we passed this house which always has lovely flowers - and a rather nicely painted bench! Probably not a street visited by a high percentage of visitors.

Coming up from the harbour we walked through this alley, once called Peter Street, but now unnamed and divided by steps - my extra today. This is a part of the town seen by all the tourists who walk along the seafront or along George Street, Oban's main thoroughfare. Which is prettiest? Answers on a postcard.
