Today's the day ……………………. to transfer

A lovely day spent with Tessa and Josie while son Rob has been working in the New Galloway area.

The arrangement is that we meet them there which is roughly half way between Moniaive and Kirkcudbright - and then bring the girls back here for the day.  That way we get to spend the day with them and Rob can get on with his work unhindered.

And it's no hardship to drive from here to New Galloway because it's always an interesting journey with lots of different wildlife to see.  This beautiful Brown Hare was sunning himself in a field that had been cut for silage, really not at all bothered who saw him.  I think it was a Stonechat that was looking down from his perch in a tree by the roadside (see extra).

The girls were in great form all day and happy to pose for the last extra when we returned them to Rob at the end of the day - and they set off back home ……………………..
