Gone fishing
Norway at last, in sunny skies and with crystal clear waters.
At a picnic stopadmiring the clearly visible sea life, our ever so creative youngest (who had been horribly travel sick) made a fishing rod out of a stick and some water weed, then tied a stone for a sinker and a piece of ham for bait. No hook - the idea was to tempt the fishes into view, not catch them. The eldeat and my husband got involved, And all of a sudden 2 and a half very relaxing hours had gone by like magic...
This is on the shore of the Lysefjord, close to Stavanger, we are on our way to Preikestolen fjellhytta where we are are "camping" in "nests" that look like pig arcs, albeit very luxurious ones. I'm not sure it quite counts as glamping but as my usual style is very minimal and lightweight, let's say it is.
A hot and crowded day at rhe trail head, in spite of Corona! - so tomorrow we'll be up early to try and beat the crowds to the top and then hopefully some paddling in the lake and relaxing in the afternoon.
