Thursday: Lilies & Thistles ...

... both loved by the pollinators.
Up very early this morning, around 6:30am, MrD had an early start to Asda, to avoid the crowds ...!
A grey damp start but it warmed up, I went for a walk down to the entrance of my friend’s farm, had a chat with a neighbour from around the corner, he was busy cutting back brambles and nettles near our gate which leads through the next bunch of houses - I thanked him for being so public spirited and he laughed :-))
By this afternoon the clouds were breaking up and we saw some blue sky - YES ... it’s still there!
