A Day of Birds

I caught this female early in the day from the deck.  A bit far, but it will have to do.  None of the goldfinch pics are worth posting.  On my walk along SC1 I heard an unfamiliar birdlike sound, looked way up to the top of a dead sycamore, and there were two vultures looking down at me from separate perches.  I took several shots but am posting none...they are so creepy.  I also blipped a hawk atop a tall grave marker at the cemetery.    It seems all I've posted lately are birds and flowers...

Thanks for your kind comments and rewards on yesterday's blip.  We are fortunate to have many beautiful green spaces to enjoy in this area.  It's nice sharing them with you.
