I was thinking I haven't taken a photo today but this new theodolite takes photos as part of its measurement routines.
Today was my first use of it in anger and it revealed quite a few issues in its operating software. To be clear, it is extremely advanced and can measure about 25,000 points per second in the appropriate environment.
