Flapjack

Trying some new recipes. I tried Anzac biscuits. Mine were a bit chewy. I'm not sure they are supposed to be. I also made florentines. They weren't crisp so I don't know what I did wrong.
Pictured are the flapjack that came out very crisp. I have made the flapjack a lot of times.
