San Ildefonso Black Pottery Tea Set

This tea set was a gift to me Christmas 1945 by Pasqualita Pena. It was made by her aunt and cousin. I was almost three at the time. I was with my family at Los Alamos NM while my father worked with a team of scientists on the atom bomb. Pasqualita came to our house to help my mother who was caring for me and my brother Dave who was born at Los Alamos. I had been with my parents to visit the Pueblo and danced and played with the children there. I wish I remembered but it was too long ago. I love the tea set and have had it as long as I can remember.
