Is that Dvorak?

Kidlet has started going to The Woodcraft Folk.

Each Friday there's a parent-led session, and today I led (de)construction. We brought along various bits of broken and unused electrical and electronic equipment, took it to bits, and then suggested that the kids build something new.

I was expecting enthusiasm and ingenuity from the primary-aged kids, and they came up with loads of great ideas: a swimming pool, mini dinosaurs, a solar-powered city, and this keyboard. What I didn't expect was how engrossed they all would be. Usually the sessions have a few kids wandering around uninterested in the activity and just wanting to play with their pals, but this time everyone, adult helpers included, explored the inside of the electronica.
