A sad day...

...for the NHS.

I've been a nurse for nearly 37 years. I love my job and I'm proud of what I do.
Over the years I've been privaleged to work with hundreds of nurses, doctors and other healthcare staff, who are caring and conscientious, and I'm sure there are thousands of nurses and doctors across England who are feeling as sad as I am about what is happening in the NHS today.
The NHS is an amazing institution and belongs to all of us. We all need to work together to make sure that we can support front line staff to deliver the best care they possibly can.
