My generation

I spoke with the FIT team at SSE today to find out why they have been ignoring my export readings. It’s because their meter readers have ignored the export meter when they visit, which means that as far as they’re concerned the meter hasn’t been “certified” for over two years.

Covid to the rescue. During the emergency they’re accepting photographs in lieu of certification.

This is the generation meter (which is also needing recertification). That’s quite a lot of energy we’ve generated since the panels were installed.
