Carrot Cake

Half day with Audrey, half day working today. And lovely it was too.

Mum and Dad popped over en route to a mini-break in London for Mum's birthday. They are off to see Flavia and Vincent's dancing tour thingy bob. Will be great for them to spend a few days in the capital.

Gemma came over before lunch and was on Audrey duty while I had a call with my accountant and did a few bits. Even managed to open Audrey's Junior Isa which is something I've been meaning to do for ages.

Then it was a quick fly round the supermarket and home to bake a Hairy Bikers carrot and sultana cake before Audrey woke from her afternoon nap. We have visitors tomorrow so am channelling the Domestic Goddess within!

Had a quick walk to Chorlton Park (see bench pictured - I liked the pink graffiti and allotments in the background).

We have a nice bottle of red and bangers and mash for tea. And just had a wonderful catch up with fellow New Mum Lucy in Wiltshire on the phone. Cheered me right up!
