Male Moorhen with Fish

I had thought that moorhens ate only weed and stuff, but no, they're omnivores as you can see from this photo.

Basil and I took our exercise at Nanpantan Reservoir this afternoon. Yes, there are two humbugs swimming alongside their parents. (See extra). I was pleased to see that. One photo I took suggests that there is a third, riding on Dad's back but I cannot possibly be sure.

The weather has turned pleasantly warmer. Dragonflies are flying. Rather chuffed to get a shot of two broad bodied chasers  mating on the path. (See extra).
