In pursuit of a tennis ball

Ailsa is a young retriever belonging to friends and she has so much energy especially when on the beach. She found the ball, she played with it while she lay in a great mound of seaweed and then she left it there. No amount of cajoling would persuade her to bring it back ...... perhaps it's now on the shores of North Berwick.

I do enjoy a toasted soda scone and I only ever buy them at the local baker's in Elie. I went yesterday to buy a couple .... horror of horrors they don't make them any more due to lack of demand ..... but if I put in an order for twelve they would make them specially. I did and collected them this morning. Ten are in the freezer and no doubt they will all be eaten by the end of the summer.
