Raging Bull Triptych, Ferryfield Recreation Ground
This image was taken through the perimeter fence of Aylesford Bulls Rugby Football Club which sits alongside Ferryfield Recreation Ground in my home village. The rugby club was originally set up in 1975 at the Bull Inn Pub in Linton by two rugby enthusiasts named Ron Huggins and Jack Williams (who was actually the landlord of the pub). The club became 'nomadic" and were determined to find their own ground and build a clubhouse which was eventually completed after they purchased 14 acres of ground which abuts Ferryfield Recreation Ground.
This picture was taken on my first walk since I smashed my bare foot into a door, turning a large part of my right foot purple and then yellow in the process and only being able to limp around virtually on one foot for a week. I felt such a relief to be walking properly again!
This image may appear to be three separate images (hence the use of triptych in the title) but is in fact just one shot.
