Derelict

This design of railway van was popular in the years before the railways were nationalised (1949). Vans like this date from around 1930 but became redundant in the early 1950s.  They had their wheels removed and were sold off - mainly as storage units. I remember this particular one having a corrugated steel roof and wooden sides...  It has deteriorated over the years and is now quite derelict - but - just along the road there is one still in use (see extra).
