One Man and his Tarry Brush
A windy day, but mostly sunny, with some cloud this evening. Winds have fairly calmed.
I've been working in the museum again today, and another day with visitors coming in for trial runs. Cousin Charlene, Clare and friend Trish were in with their bairns. Headed down to sister Laura's this evening, and a walk with mam and Elise. Feet up now at home.
As we walked this evening, I spied a not so common sight, a man out with the tar brush, painting the outbuilding roofs. Both my grandparents did this, with me helping at times, usually painting with creosote. Bernard Smith happily at work, at da Villans, Cunningsburgh.
